DAIWA’s OUTRAGE SLJ rod series inherits the design philosophy of the flagship SALTIGA SLJ, combining the sensitivity, controllability, and power required for super light jigging. The Metal Top models feature super-elastic titanium alloy tips, making it easier to detect subtle bites and jig movements that are difficult to perceive with conventional carbon tips. Their HVF Nanoplus blanks are reinforced with X45 to suppress twisting while providing excellent controllability and power during the fight. The Thrill Game models feature Mega Top full-solid construction, delivering a supple, progressive action and powerful lifting strength.
The 60LS-MT is a light-action model designed for casting lightweight jigs and targeting shallow water down to 30 m. The 64MLS-MT and 63MLS TG are all-round models suited to jigs ranging from 15 to 80 g. The 66MS-MT, 62MS TG, 63MB-MT, and 61MB TG are power-oriented models designed for jigs from 20 to 100 g and deep areas beyond 50 m, with the power to handle species such as pelagic fish. The 63MB-MT allows precise jig control while taking advantage of the bottom-contact sensitivity unique to baitcasting tackle. With its 7.1 ft length, tubular tip, and casting-oriented design, the 71MS is suited to techniques such as long-distance horizontal retrieves and blade jigging. Spinning models feature an AIRSENSOR SEAT, while the entire series adopts a butt-joint construction.
