The Smith Jig Head Take-chan is a small-sized jig head designed based on Mr. Eiji Takeda's "Oni-gake Concept." Primarily targeting rockfish, this jig head features a large eye on the hook section for easy line threading and compatibility with snaps. This design allows for more erratic movements when using snaps. The hook shape is ultra-fine wire with a short shank, providing a lightweight yet strong option. The head design integrates seamlessly with worms, aimed at enticing the target to swallow it whole. Additionally, it uses Owner hooks, ensuring excellent hook-setting performance. One of the variations, the Jig Head Take-chan WIDE, is equipped with a wide gap strong wire hook and includes a worm keeper to prevent slippage, ensuring stable action. These features make it highly effective for targeting horse mackerel and rockfish in saltwater lure fishing.
