Jackson’s Metal Effect Blade is a metal jig developed for a horizontal approach centered on a retrieve, in contrast to the Metal Effect Stay Fall, which is designed with vertical fishing in mind. Its body features contrasting recesses and edges that generate subtle vibrations during the retrieve, producing variations in the intensity of its flash. The added sparkle of the blade combines the distinct light appeal of both the body and the blade.
The lure is primarily designed to be retrieved after casting, allowing anglers to search by varying the retrieve speed and depth. Designed with fast-moving pelagic fish in mind, it uses single hooks with greater strength than treble hooks. The 20 g model measures 56 mm overall, the 30 g model 64.5 mm, the 40 g model 71 mm, and the 50 g model 75 mm. All models are equipped with single hooks at the front and rear. The different weights can be selected according to the situation, from close-range fishing and applications requiring quick, lively lure control to searching deeper ranges or making long casts with heavier weights.
