C'ultiva’s SK-9 Cast Sinker is designed to add casting distance and weight to worm rigs used for light-game fishing. Its teardrop-shaped design helps achieve greater casting distance, while the sinker body features a “Chokushin Slit” that protects the line. The stopper uses Owner’s “Scrum Rubber,” allowing the rig to be assembled while adjusting its position along the line. The body is made of high-precision stainless steel.
The basic setup is a split-shot rig, with the Cast Sinker threaded onto the line and a jig head or similar terminal tackle tied below it. In the official example, the Cast Sinker is combined with a Balancer Head to improve the casting performance of a lightweight rig in windy conditions while presenting it through the mid-water column. Available weights include 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, and 5 go, allowing anglers to choose according to the target depth and required casting distance.
