C’ultiva’s JH-88 Balancer Head is designed for intermediate pivot-style rigs such as float rigs, split-shot rigs, and casting-float rigs, making it easier to maintain the worm’s posture while using a lightweight jig head. It is available in 0.1 g increments from 0.2 g to 0.6 g, allowing delicate depth adjustment with an ultra-lightweight head.
The head is designed with a controlled lack of stability so it does not move excessively underwater, helping it maintain a horizontal posture even in areas with changing currents, such as current seams. A fine-wire hook is used, providing a setup that readily follows light inhalation bites even in rigs where bites are detected through a float or similar device. In addition to slowly retrieving the worm at a constant speed, it is also suitable for probing offshore depths with a float rig. Choose from 0.2 g, 0.3 g, 0.4 g, 0.5 g, and 0.6 g according to the current, sink rate, and rig being used.
