OWNER’s JH-90 Mushi Head Power is a power version designed to incorporate the maneuverability of a jig head into bait fishing while handling unexpected strikes from large fish. Featuring an ultra-heavy-gauge hook, it offers the strength needed for species such as red sea bream, large rockfish, groupers, and Asian sheepshead wrasse. It can also be used with shore jigging tackle, expanding its range of applications from standard breakwaters to light boats and rocky shorelines.
Weights are available in 2 g, 3 g, 4 g, 6 g, 8 g, 10 g, 15 g, and 20 g. Choose the appropriate weight for the conditions, from close-range bait fishing with the lighter models to long casts, deep water, and areas with strong currents using the heavier models. The head features a “tenya-style assist eye,” allowing you to tie on a snelled hook as desired, such as when using live shrimp bait. The basic setup is to mount bait directly on the body, taking advantage of the heavy-gauge hook design to target large fish.
