OWNER’s Mushi Head is a jig head designed for bait fishing, allowing anglers to enjoy lure-style presentations simply by tying it to their usual light tackle. Dedicated features have been incorporated throughout, including the hook design, combining the fish-attracting power of natural bait with the controllability of a jig head. With natural bait rigged, it supports light-game techniques such as retrieving, falling, lift-and-fall, and dragging along the bottom. In addition to retrieving through a consistent water column, anglers can adapt their approach to the conditions with techniques such as dropping the rig, allowing it to fall after lifting, and enticing fish by tracing the bottom.
The simple setup of tying on the line and adding bait makes it easy to use and well suited to casual bait fishing with lure tackle. Weights of 0.5 g, 1 g, 2 g, 3 g, 4.5 g, and 6 g are available, allowing anglers to choose according to the fishing location and water depth—from close-range presentations with a lightweight rig to targeting distant spots, deeper water, and areas with fast currents using the 6 g model.
