YGK (XBRAID) FULLDRAG TSR X8 is an 8-strand PE line developed to enhance casting and lure control in casting games targeting large pelagic species and tuna. TSR treatment gives the line stiffness and body, helping suppress line twist, while its excellent water repellency keeps the line from clinging to the rod blank or guides, reducing line trouble during casting. By minimizing the effect of moisture, it reduces resistance as the line is released and supports long-distance casting. After the lure lands, the line is easy to mend, allowing anglers to transition quickly into the retrieve.
Abrasion resistance has also been taken into consideration, helping reduce abrasion-related trouble while pursuing reliable knot retention and lasting performance when tying various knots. It is also designed to handle the strength demands of full-lock fights. The line is white, with 80 cm blue marks every 10 m and 1 m pink marks every 50 m, making it easy to check the line’s position and the amount released. Made of PE with a specific gravity of 0.98, it is available in a 300 m hanger pack and a 100 m × 12-connected configuration. The 300 m model is available from size 3 through size 15.
