YGK Yotsuami (YGK) GALIS CASTMAN T.P ABSORBER is a nylon shock leader developed for big saltwater game, taking into account abrasion against structure, damage from fish teeth, and material fatigue caused by prolonged fights. Featuring “Big One Limited,” made with ternary copolymer nylon, it prioritizes more than just straight-line strength, offering stretch characteristics that prevent the line from fully elongating even under high drag tension and allow it to recover once the load is released.
The ultra-hard surface created by the new ALK manufacturing process provides cut resistance despite the nylon construction. It also features an ultra-low water absorption design that reduces water absorption to one-tenth that of conventional products. With a structure emphasizing surface hardness and recovery, it is designed for battles with large fish, where loads are likely to concentrate on the leader main line and connection points.
