YGK GALIS Castman Absorber is a nylon leader designed for use with short leaders in casting games, emphasizing the shock absorption and flexibility provided by its special nylon base material, “Super Bron.” While conventional nylon typically offers less than approximately 30% knotless elongation before breaking, Super Bron provides approximately 35%. It absorbs sudden loads during casting and fights, reducing the strain on knots caused by a fish’s initial surge—strain that is difficult to compensate for with the rod and drag alone.
Made from nylon with a specific gravity of 1.14, the line features a Super Fine Clear color. Its supple construction resists coiling and makes it easy to tie secure knots quickly and reliably. The leader’s flexibility minimizes restriction of the lure’s movement, helping maintain its original action after connection. It is designed to be combined with PE line as a shock leader for casting, with sizes selectable according to the required strength. The 50 m spool is available in a wide range of specifications, from No. 4 (16 lb) to No. 60 (200 lb).
