Shimano Soare

SHIMANO’s Soare is a casting float designed to send lightweight rigs farther in light saltwater fishing, making it easy to develop an approach suited to the fishing spot and conditions. The Soare Outshoot features a design that extends casting distance when added to a light rig, while allowing it to be attached and removed without cutting the line. To install it, slide the main body and grip fin apart, open the grip fin and insert the line into the line guide, close the fin, and reattach the main body. It is made of ABS.

The floating type is suited to slowly retrieving the rig while occasionally adding twitches and pauses, allowing you to search the area while observing the float’s sinking motion and feeling bites transmitted to the rod. The sinking type is primarily used with a slow retrieve in combination with a soft bait or minnow, and also supports lift-and-fall presentations. Set it approximately 30–70 cm from the jighead rig, making it useful when you want to send a lightweight rig farther offshore. It is available in Normal and Glow colors, with weight options ranging from 3.6 to 7 g.
