Madness Shiriten

MADNESS’s shiriten series is a range of lures that takes advantage of the unique properties of silicone, offering a soft feel, silent operation, and baitfish-like vibration unlike hard plugs and conventional metal jigs. The shiriten Vibe 73 combines a silicone solid body with moderate flexibility and a laser-cut through-wire construction. Its dorsal and ventral fins generate high-pitch, tight vibrations. It is resistant to losing its posture even on fast retrieves and maintains an almost horizontal swimming position. In addition to its casting performance, provided by the high-density body and internal weight, it also features a silent design that minimizes hook noise. The standard model measures 73 mm and weighs 17 g, and is equipped with Owner ST-46 #8 treble hooks. The Shoubu Series combines a #8 hook on the front with a #6 hook on the rear.

The shiriten Jig 60 features a slow-sinking design with a silicone solid body, a silicone-painted body that resists color loss, and a silent design that minimizes hook noise. The 100 mm, 60 g body is suitable for casting and can also be used with a steady retrieve. Gamakatsu Assist 59 Light #1 hooks are recommended. Since the Vibe-type and metal jig-type lures differ in construction and handling, the shiriten Vibe 73 is best used with a retrieve that maintains a consistent posture, while the shiriten Jig 60 is primarily intended for a steady retrieve after casting.
