Daiwa Saltiga

DAIWA’s SALTIGA is a metal jig series developed to optimize offshore handling and lure action. The SALTIGA FK Jig TG SLJ is based on the FK Jig, which prioritizes flashing performance during the fall, and is made from high-specific-gravity tungsten. Taking advantage of tungsten’s approximately 1.6 times greater specific gravity than lead, its compact body and asymmetrical, slim profile make it easier to reach the target depth quickly and are designed to respond quickly to rod work. The setup combines twin front hooks with a single rear hook, making it suitable for fall-focused super light jigging.

The SALTIGA Jive Chopper is a rear-short-type metal jig with weight positioned toward the rear, featuring a quick switchback action designed for short-rear-weight bait jigging. The 45 g model accommodates either twin or single short assist hooks, with recommended hook sizes and leader strengths specified for each model. This series can be selected according to the tackle and water depth while varying the jig’s action during the fall and on the jerk.
