Shimotsuke’s TM Salty Rook is a rod series designed for anglers who want to start saltwater lure fishing, with lengths and power ratings tailored to seabass fishing, eging, and shore jigging. Rather than relying on an expensive rod, the series is designed with sufficient specifications for the purpose, emphasizing ease of use and the enjoyment of fishing. The shore jigging lineup includes the TM Salty Rook SHORE JIGGING 96M and 100MH. Both feature a three-piece construction. The 96M is rated for lure weights of 7–42 g, a maximum line rating of PE 2.0, weighs approximately 160 g, and has a carbon content of 97%. The 100MH is rated for lure weights of 10–56 g, a maximum line rating of PE 2.0, weighs approximately 172 g, and has a carbon content of 97%. The 96M handles relatively lighter lures within the series, while the 100MH is designed for heavier metal jigs, allowing anglers to choose according to their lure weights and required rod power. The seabass lineup also includes the 90ML and 96ML, rated for 5–28 g and 7–35 g, respectively. With different lengths and power ratings for each fishing style, this lineup is designed for anglers new to saltwater lure fishing.
