Originating in Svangsta, Sweden, Abu Garcia has more than 100 years of history since its founding in 1921. The Ambassadeur baitcasting reel, introduced in the 1950s, revolutionized reel design and still commands a devoted following worldwide. Today Abu Garcia produces spinning reels, baitcasting reels, and rods covering the full range of saltwater fishing, and the brand maintains a strong following in Japan among anglers who appreciate its heritage and performance.
Why Shop Abu Garcia at Pro Shop Otsuka? Pro Shop Otsuka carries Abu Garcia reels and rods shipped directly from Japan — classic Ambassadeur models and modern salt-spec gear.
