DUO Drag Metal Cast

DUO’s Drag Metal Cast is a metal jig for shore casting, designed to balance casting performance and ease of control in a compact body. Its fat-bodied design makes it easier to achieve distance even for anglers who are inexperienced at casting, while after splashdown it delivers a stable swimming action and a horizontal sliding fall. It sinks efficiently during the fall, generates appeal with a tail-wagging action on a steady retrieve, and responds quickly to jerks. Its light, responsive feel makes it suitable for presentations combining reeling and rod manipulation.

The lineup includes 15 g, 20 g, 30 g, and 40 g weights, measuring 43.5 mm, 49 mm, 56 mm, and 60 mm, respectively. The standard hook setup combines a front assist hook with tinsel and a rear treble hook, with hook sizes assigned to each weight. In addition to casting long distances to cover a wide area, it is well suited to techniques that combine jerking, falling, and steady retrieves after reaching the bottom, making it easy to build the basic shore-jigging actions into a single metal jig.
