TACKLE HOUSE’s ROLLINGBAIT is a saltwater lure developed to pursue a distinctive “rolling” action that differs from minnows and conventional vibration plugs. As the original model in the series, the RB77 may appear to be a vibration plug due to the position of its line eye, but it offers relatively light resistance during the retrieve, with a swimming action focused primarily on rolling. Designed mainly for sea bass fishing in harbors and rivers, it provides basic performance that is easy to use with a steady retrieve.

All models are sinking, allowing you to search the water column from shallow areas down to the bottom. The basic technique is a steady retrieve, with the lures suitable for anything from slow to fast retrieves. When you want to maintain the lure’s depth in shallow water, a slightly faster retrieve is recommended. They can also be worked with rod action as needed. The RB66 is downsized for challenging conditions, while the RB88 is larger and heavier than the RB77 for increased casting distance. The RB77LW is lighter than the RB77, making it suitable for working shallow areas or carefully presenting a horizontal fall. The RB88LW retains a large silhouette while reducing the casting weight, making it well suited to searching shallow water. The range of sizes and weights allows you to choose the right model according to the depth of the area, the casting distance required, and the silhouette of the available baitfish.
