DAIWA’s Flat Junky series of metal vibrations is designed for targeting flounder and flathead fish holding around offshore breaks, rip currents, and deeper water from the surf. The Hirame Metal Z features flashing from its multi-faceted, highly reflective design, along with a two-hook configuration at the front and rear. Available in 32 g and 40 g models, the 40 g version measures 68 mm in length and comes equipped with #6 treble hooks at both the front and rear. Designed for retrieve-up presentations after reaching the bottom, as well as lift-and-fall techniques, it efficiently covers long-range and deep-water zones.

The Hirame Metal R features a body with five multi-faceted surfaces on the front and an asymmetrical, highly reflective surface on the back, reflecting light during both the fall and retrieve. Its semi-rear balance provides casting distance, while a slow retrieve produces a spoon-like Monroe action and the fall generates flashing. The Hirame Metal Z II accommodates larger hooks—#6 at the front and #4 at the rear—thanks to its extended body and improved hook-position limiter. It also features a removable bite-marker tinsel. The Hirame Metal Z Blade is designed with a jig body that produces no action, attracting fish with the rotational vibration and flashing of its tail blade. Its ultra-low center of gravity and offset blade setting allow it to be used for stop-and-go retrieves, lift-and-fall techniques, and slow retrieves close to the bottom.
