Daiwa Kohga

DAIWA’s KOHGA is a Tai Rubber series developed from years of research into Tai Rubber fishing. It is designed to meet the challenge of targeting red sea bream by allowing anglers to vary the presentation through different combinations of heads, neckties, and hooks. The Bay Rubber Free β features the β System, which enables quick replacement of the head and necktie. The head alone combines a round lead body with a newly designed special resin tube. Its double-action design allows the action to be changed by using the head in the standard or reverse orientation, making it possible to select the appropriate setup according to the current speed and conditions. The standard-equipped model combines KOHGA Hooks (SAXUS) with the Necktie STR and skirt.

The Current Breaker Trinity β is a Tai Rubber set designed for do-tera drift fishing. Its head combines lead and tungsten and features an offset design that positions the unit closer to the center of the head. The configuration takes hook-setting into consideration for fish attacking the head and produces a straight action. Flare Leaf is used by lightly hooking it onto the hook. The worm’s buoyancy and tandem flare fins catch the current, synchronizing the movement of the hook and necktie. Splitting the tail changes the vibration, while the noduled body helps reduce close contact with the necktie and tangling with the hook. The lineup includes the standard Bay Rubber Free β, various head models, the Current Breaker Trinity β, and Flare Leaf, allowing anglers to choose according to their intended operation and rigging.
