RodioCraft 999.9 Meister Chimera Over 61ML-e

Designed around ester lines in the 0.3–0.4 size range, with 0.35 being the primary recommendation, the Chimera Over is a highly versatile rod developed to handle a wide range of medium-weight area trout lures. From heavier spoons and bottom-contact presentations to minnows and full-size crankbaits, this rod provides the power, casting performance, and control needed to fish multiple techniques with a single setup. Its 6 ft 1 in length is tuned to generate excellent casting distance, allowing anglers to efficiently cover offshore water and reach productive areas that can be difficult to access with shorter, lighter setups. At the same time, the Chimera Over maintains the precise handling and responsiveness required for accurate lure manipulation. This combination makes it especially well suited to medium- and large-sized trout ponds, where long casts, precise lure control, and the ability to adapt quickly between different lure types are essential. Whether you are making long casts with heavier spoons, working bottom lures with controlled movements, twitching and jerking minnows, or retrieving full-size crankbaits, the Chimera Over offers a refined balance of distance, versatility, and operability. A true all-round model for anglers who want to cover a broad range of medium-weight presentations without constantly changing rods.
