New Drawer’s ND Straight is a single hook for spoons, designed for an aggressive, actively setting style of fishing. With a straight hook point, it minimizes resistance from the initial hookup through penetration, helping the hook stay securely in place. The shank is made relatively thick to help prevent bending when setting the hook aggressively.

The large hook eye is another defining feature. It helps prevent the hook from moving excessively during the spoon’s action, while increasing the chances that the point will contact the fish’s mouth on bites where the fish takes the lure but does not fully close its mouth. Available in sizes #6 and #8, the #6 is suited to spoon setups that prioritize aggressive hooksets, such as immediately after fish stocking.
