Daysprout Rita

DAYSPROUT’s Rita is a crankbait designed for “searching attacks” that cover a wide area. This mid-sized crankbait was developed to combine the casting distance of a micro crank with the advantages of a full-size crank. Rather than adding unnecessary weight to a small body, it features a carefully balanced design that helps maintain the intended depth, combining long-distance casting with easy depth control. Its tight wobble provides a satisfying resistance during the retrieve, making it easy to sense the lure’s presence and determine the depth at which it is swimming. It is well suited to searching different depths while continuously retrieving.

The standard DR-SS model measures 32 mm and weighs 2.8 g, with a slow-sinking configuration that combines the strengths of full-size and micro crankbaits. The DR-F uses the same 32 mm body with a 2.4 g floating configuration. The MS is a 2.6 g medium-sinking model with a higher-appeal action and stronger wobble than the original Rita. Depending on water temperature and water quality, its buoyancy can range from super-slow sinking to nearly suspending. In addition, the NIKI Rita DR-F is a full-size version measuring 36 mm and weighing 3.5 g. This floating model features long-distance casting enabled by a moving weight system and a strong pulling resistance generated by its wide rolling action. The different models can be selected according to conditions and the depth being targeted, with each offering a distinct buoyancy and action.
