Valkein Hydram

ValkeIN’s Hydram is a minnow designed to create a natural, fluid movement that is difficult to achieve with a single-piece body, using a jointed construction. The core Hydram F features a four-jointed body inspired by a loach and a wide lip, combining the characteristics of both a minnow and a crankbait. In addition to wobbling and rolling, it produces ValkeIN’s unique “live wobbling” action, transitioning from a slow, wide action at low speeds to a tight, stable action at high speeds. Its practical running depth is 80 cm, making it suitable for targeting the surface to mid-depth range while taking advantage of its floating design to maintain its running depth.

The Hydram S is a sinking model that produces the live wobbling action of its four-jointed body even while falling. Its practical running depth is 100 cm, and it resists rising even at a dead-slow retrieve, allowing anglers to target deeper ranges that are difficult to reach with the F. By choosing between the F and S, anglers can cover the range from the surface to deep water, while the S can also be worked close to the bottom by adding rod action. The Hydram Nano F is a compact model featuring a three-jointed 55 mm body combined with a wide lip, producing a more delicate and compact live wobbling action. Its practical running depth is 20 cm, and it is suited not only to a steady retrieve but also to varied presentations using twitches and stop-and-go retrieves. Due to the characteristics of jointed lures, all models can be fine-tuned using the front-eye adjustment known as “True Tune” to achieve their intended action and swimming balance.
