RodioCraft JEKYLL Jr. takes the JEKYLL concept into a smaller silhouette with reduced water displacement. It is intended for situations in which trout are present but refuse to bite and the angler wants to minimize appeal as much as possible. The standard setup uses a Honeycomb T Hook #8, but changing to a #6 when fish become especially difficult suppresses the spoon's movement and lowers its appeal even further. Three weights—0.7 g, 0.9 g and 1.1 g—allow adjustments to running depth, retrieve speed and casting distance without abandoning the compact profile. A rear-weighted balance also provides excellent long-casting performance, enabling anglers to deliver this restrained action to fish holding farther offshore. JEKYLL Jr. is a precise option for pressured and inactive trout that will not accept a stronger presentation.
