Recent X Stick Lure

RECENT’s X Stick lure features a simple, stick-shaped body that produces minimal movement during retrieval, making it easy for trout to take. It is also ideal for practicing slow tracing at a consistent depth. The lure can be used for sight fishing, allowing you to control it while watching the lure. After casting, remove the slack from the line, let the lure sink to the desired depth, then retrieve it ultra-slowly at a speed that keeps the body at approximately a 45-degree angle. It can also be used with a stop-and-go retrieve—turn the reel handle approximately once, then pause for 1–3 seconds—as well as for holding and drifting in areas with current.

Start with the Normal size to get a feel for how to control the lure, then select the Mini or Slim Mini according to the trout’s response and the desired silhouette. The Slim Mini has a thinner and shorter body than the Mini, making it effective even in large ponds when targeting close-range areas such as drop-offs and the area directly in front of your feet.
