Mukai Fishing’s SHACHIHOKO 23S/HS is a sinking crankbait designed to search a wide range of depths, much like a spoon. Like the BACKSTROKE, it features an UPWARD LIP with a lip positioned at the front of the body. Its sinking-weight design supports a depth-by-depth approach, while the design minimizes rising, making it easier to retrieve the lure steadily through a consistent range.

The body measures 23 mm, with the 23S weighing 2.1 g and the 23HS weighing 2.6 g. The S model is sinking, while the HS model is heavy sinking, allowing anglers to choose between them according to the sinking speed and target depth. When fishing, take advantage of the sinking action by letting the lure reach the desired depth and retrieving it while maintaining a consistent range. It can also be worked through different depths by changing the range during the retrieve. From near the surface to deeper water, this model allows anglers to adjust the area they search through their own lure control.
