Daiwa Presso Nyoro Crazy

DAIWA’s Presso Nyoro Crazy was developed as a Nyoro-style lure featuring an inverted lip under the supervision of area trout expert Hiroki Wada. Compared with the Crazy 45SS released in 2010, it has been designed with a slimmer, longer body, forming a hiragana “ひ”-shaped silhouette with the head and tail bent. This shape allows the body’s movement to flow smoothly during the action while helping prevent the tail-side hook from swinging excessively from side to side.

The lip is larger than that of the previous model and features a shape that extends outward on both sides. It responds quickly even on a slow retrieve, producing an action with pronounced body undulation. The 57S is a sinking model weighing 3.5 g, designed to be used primarily with a standard retrieve while working the desired depth. The 57SS is a slow-sinking model weighing 2.6 g. It can be retrieved more slowly than the 57S and is suited to maintaining depth from the surface to the midwater range, as well as tracing along the bottom. It also supports a shaking method in which rod movements are added at a slow tempo to entice fish while turning the head 180 degrees. The standard hook setup consists of two SaqSas Short Multi #8 hooks, and the standard ring setup consists of two #0 rings.
