This is a wax designed for the ferrules of fishing rods. It combines natural wax and paraffin to prevent loosening, play, and sticking at the joints. It helps minimize misalignment of the ferrules caused by repeated stress during casting while trout fishing, reducing the risk of sudden disconnection. To use, simply wipe off any dirt from the ferrule area, apply a thin, even layer of wax, connect the rod, and wipe away any excess wax. The key to effectiveness is not to overapply. It also helps prevent wear on spigot joints.
