WaterLand’s Jerk Sonic is a heavy-weight minnow plug designed to swim effectively not only with twitching and jerking, but also on a standard retrieve. It responds quickly to rod movements, and varying the strength and pauses of your inputs produces sharp darting action. On a steady retrieve, it swims with a pronounced body wobble, making it suitable for both action-based presentations and covering water with a retrieve.

The lineup includes the Jerk Sonic 55, Jerk Sonic 65, and Jerk Sonic 100S. The 55 measures 55 mm and weighs 5 g, the 65 measures 65 mm and weighs 6.5 g, and the 100S measures 100 mm and weighs 15 g. Differences in size affect casting distance, presence in the water, and the scale of the current and fishing spots where each lure is easiest to handle, allowing anglers to select the appropriate model according to the target depth and baitfish size. The 100S is a sinking model that can easily be counted down after casting to reach the desired depth. The basic approach is to use a steady retrieve as the foundation, combined with twitches and jerks. In current, adjust the retrieve speed while checking the speed at which the lure begins to swim; you can also insert pauses after each rod movement to limit the distance the lure travels.
