ALFRED’s ALF AREA SINKING LINE 2LB CLASS. is a high-specific-gravity fluorocarbon line developed to make it easier to deliver lightweight lures to the desired depth when targeting area trout. Taking advantage of the line’s sinking density, it supports a wide range of presentations—from probing the surface and mid-water layers to working near the bottom—while sinking buoyant, delicate lures.
Its refractive index, similar to that of water, blurs the line’s silhouette and makes it less likely to be detected. Its low stretch also makes it easier to detect changes transmitted from the lure.
