In the upper reaches of mountain streams, where you fish for keiryu trout, there are often difficult conditions such as restricted footing and heavy overgrowth. With the Kawasemi Rhapsody, we set out to eliminate the stress of the approach.
We carefully selected lengths that let you focus on your cast without worrying about the “branches overhead,” “rocks behind you,” or “grass at your feet.” By designing each model with a distinct role in mind, the rod handles a wide range of lure styles and techniques.
Jackson Kawasemi Rhapsody is an evolving mountain-stream trout rod. It features a beautiful wood-grain grip made from natural materials and Fuji K guides with slim SIC-S rings. It is suited to the light lures increasingly in demand today, including floating and suspending minnow-style lures, and it bends deeply after the hookset to help reduce lost fish. With a packed length of just 28 cm, among the shortest in its class, and some models including a dedicated semi-hard case, it is easy to carry compactly. With the Kawasemi Rhapsody, we aimed to free the angler from the stress of approach.
