Area trout rods from Japan are engineering achievements in miniature. Designed specifically for the demands of managed fishing pond (kanri-tsuri-ba) fishing, these rods must deliver pinpoint casting accuracy with lures as light as 0.5g, transmit the faintest strike through PE or fluorocarbon line, and cushion the powerful runs of large rainbow trout on light tippet.
Some brands such as Shimano/Megabass cannot be sold overseas due to contracts.
