SHIMANO’s CARDIFF is a series designed to bring out the distinctive character of each model with a slow, steady retrieve. The OOTORO 45F combines the presence of a large, three-section jointed body with a high response during slow retrieves. As each of the three body sections moves water independently, it is prone to producing an irregular action even during a steady retrieve, making it suitable for casting toward offshore areas and slowly working the lure. It measures 45 mm, weighs 3.4 g, and features a floating design equipped with two single barbless hooks.

The SOKOTORO 30S is a fat-bodied sinking model with its body shape and weight adjusted to make it easier to search the bottom range. Its jointed construction, with an expanded range of movement, responds even to slight currents. After the lure reaches the bottom, the basic technique is a slow, steady retrieve that allows you to feel changes in the bottom. When a bite occurs, the recommended method is to point the rod tip downward and set the hook. It measures 30 mm, weighs 4 g, and is equipped with two #10 hooks.
