By attaching it over your waders, it provides protection while bushwhacking. It also reduces water resistance when wading. The material is strategically placed above the knee to minimize slippage.
*For first-time use, please stretch the thigh area (marked in red in the image) side to side 2-3 times before use to help the fabric conform better and reduce slippage. (No stretching is necessary after the initial use.)
