BURNS’ MIRACLE WORKS HAMMER120 is a revival of the “HAMMER” lipless minnow, known as a pioneer of shallow-water fishing, approximately 20 years after its original release. Measuring 120 mm and weighing 18 g, it features a floating design and a magnetic weight-transfer system. During the cast, the weight-transfer system helps achieve greater distance, while after landing, the lure’s buoyancy allows it to target the water just below the surface.
The HAMMER120 is designed to run from the surface to a depth of 10 cm, making it suitable for targeting sea bass in shallow areas. Its lipless body produces the HAMMER’s distinctive wobbling action and vibration, and it is best suited to a basic straight retrieve just below the surface. With its 120 mm, 18 g profile, it is easy to give the lure a strong presence in shallow water and to select it according to the current and baitfish size. As a floating minnow, it can be allowed to rise when the retrieve is paused, enabling the angler to adjust its running depth.
