MIZAR’s WaveTail II is a straight worm designed to deliver appeal and hooking performance through subtle movement. Its slim, elongated tail blends easily with the current, while its shape is designed to minimize excessive resistance across the entire worm. Although the tail maintains a strong presence, its action remains gentle. Rather than aggressively displacing water, it is designed to emphasize a natural presentation.

During retrieves, the tail produces a solid action even with a slow approach, making it suitable for presentations that do not require continuously moving the worm significantly. The slim, elongated tail readily creates movement underwater even at low speeds, and its configuration makes it easy to use in current while monitoring the worm’s posture and action. In addition, the shape from the tail through the body is designed to minimize interference with the hook point, helping the hook function effectively when a bite occurs. It is well suited to techniques such as slow steady retrieves and subtle rod movements that avoid moving the worm abruptly and make the most of the tail’s action.
