FLASH UNION’s SEAREVO Gut’s Stayner is a wood-bodied casting popper developed in collaboration with Captain Agatsuma of SEASTAGE, a charter boat for bluefin tuna casting in Hakodate, Hokkaido. Its slim body minimizes air resistance, while its strength and buoyancy are designed to accommodate hook sizes suitable for large tuna. Despite its slender silhouette, it can be fitted with large treble hooks according to the target and conditions.

The 185 measures 185 mm in length and weighs approximately 61 g, accommodating size 4/0 hooks front and rear. Its rear-biased center of gravity and low-resistance body provide castability despite its light weight. This model is designed for situations in which fish are reluctant to respond to standard-sized lures, as well as micro-bait patterns. The 215 is the core model, measuring 215 mm and weighing approximately 78 g, and accommodates treble hooks up to size 5/0. Its stable action resists jumping out of the water and responds to retrieves ranging from short pops to long jerks. Based on the 215, the 235 features an enlarged body and cup diameter. Measuring 235 mm and weighing approximately 100 g, it produces a large popping sound and abundant bubbles. It accommodates size 5/0 hooks front and rear, as well as a setup using a size 6/0 hook on the tail only.
