POP SEA CREW’s WILIP 87F is a floating minnow designed to produce different actions depending on the retrieve speed, allowing two distinct presentations with a single lure. It features a distinctive wide lip, measures 87 mm in length, weighs 13 g, and is designed to run at depths of 5–40 cm.
On a dead-slow to slow retrieve, the lip catches the water while maintaining a quick start-up and smooth swimming action, producing a slow-pitch, roll-dominant wobble-and-roll action. Its tuning is intended for environments ranging from harbors with gentle currents to rivers with moderate flow speeds. As the retrieve speed increases, the lip grips the water more aggressively, changing the action to a high-appeal wobbling action with vibrations transmitted to the angler’s hand. Use a slow, steady retrieve to imitate weakly swimming baitfish, or combine it with a fast retrieve when you want to change the lure’s response, allowing the action to be varied according to retrieve speed. It is fitted with #5 hooks and #3 split rings.
