START replacement units are configured to allow the necktie and hooks to be changed according to the tai rubber conditions and target. The lineup includes models combining treble hooks with curly-style neckties, as well as models featuring double hooks and straight-style neckties. Among them, Triple Hook Maji Curly is the first START model to use a big curly necktie, designed to move dynamically and nimbly through its complex cut shape. It moves seductively during slow retrieves, while its design helps it maintain its posture even during fast retrieves, allowing anglers to search for red sea bream reactions by varying the retrieve speed.

Triple Hook Maji Curly Jr. is a variation retuned with a smaller silhouette while retaining the characteristics of Maji Curly, and is available with S and M hook sizes. Featuring movement distinct from that of standard curly neckties and action in the low-speed range created by its complex cut, it is suited to situations where anglers want to vary the necktie’s movement, such as when fish are feeding reluctantly or when fishing deep water. Each model comes with the necktie and hooks assembled and is used by attaching it to a tai rubber head. Since the necktie shape, silhouette, and hook size differ by variation, the models can be selected according to the retrieve speed and the fish’s response.
