Marujin UK Shad Worm

MARUJIN’s UK SHADWORM is a 3.5-inch shad-tail soft bait developed to provide a plug-like feel when fishing with a worm. Rather than producing the wide, pronounced tail action typical of standard shad tails, it features a tail designed to generate vibrations that travel rearward. The entire body is made from a soft material. When paired with a jighead, the UK SHADWORM uses an inner-head design that houses the head section inside the body, creating a silhouette in which the worm and jighead appear to form a single unit.

During the retrieve, the entire body produces a rolling action accompanied by flashes of light. Combining rearward vibrations with the rolling motion creates a strong presence while limiting the excessive flapping often associated with shad-tail worms. The basic presentation is a steady retrieve, and the design makes it easy to generate the action simply by winding at a consistent speed. For rigging, use the separately sold UK JIGHEAD. Insert the hook through the belly slit and push it through the body, using the mark on the back as a guide, then insert the jighead into the worm. Finally, bring the eyelet out through the hole in the top of the head. By housing the jighead inside the body, the design helps reduce slipping after rigging and allows the worm to be removed and reused when changing colors.
