POZIDRIVE garage’s DK. Sea Dog 160 is a floating model designed for targeting the surface with large bait in mind, featuring a 160 mm body that delivers excellent control and sharp action. It is equipped with an internal weight-transfer system designed to provide stable flight during casting. On the surface, it produces a sharp dog-walking action that feels less bulky than its size suggests, while the large ball inside the body generates a one-knock sound. In addition, the resistance plates projecting from both sides of the head catch water during operation, creating splashes and bubbles to enhance the surface presentation both visually and audibly. The basic technique is to make the lure swing its head from side to side with rod work, with the strength of the input allowing you to vary its movement. It can also produce a side-to-side serpentine waking action with retrieve alone. By combining pauses, straight pulls, and dead-sticking, you can alternate between stationary and active presentations on the surface. With a floating specification measuring 160 mm in length and weighing 43 g, it can produce a wide variety of topwater-plug presentations by varying the pauses and retrieve speed while keeping the lure on the surface. It is equipped with two #1-class hooks and #5 split rings.
