Clear Blue TG Parasol Sinker

ClearBlue’s TG Parasol Sinker is a tungsten sinker designed to improve ease of use and control when fishing a split-shot rig. Its compact, high-density tungsten body helps achieve greater casting distance, while the hard material makes it easier to detect changes underwater and along the bottom. It also helps reduce resistance in current, allowing you to work the rig while staying aware of the sinker’s position.

The body features a pentagonal shape that helps reduce air resistance during casting and water resistance during the fall, promoting a faster descent. The line is positioned along the groove in the body and secured with the included original rubber cap, making the sinker easy to replace without retying. The weight is engraved on the side for quick identification when using multiple weights.

The basic setup is a split-shot rig: first attach a stopper to the line or leader, then install the sinker, and connect a jig head and soft plastic to the end of the rig. By spacing the sinker and jig head apart, the sinker helps improve casting distance and sink rate while allowing you to take advantage of the jig head’s action. Available weights are 1.0 g, 1.5 g, 2.0 g, 2.5 g, 3.0 g, 4.0 g, and 5.0 g.
