ClearBlue’s Saikoro Head is designed from the head shape up to provide pulling resistance and a strong presence, even with a lightweight jighead. The upper face at the front of the head catches the current, while the front edge splits and deflects the water, producing a stable swimming action. During a tension fall, the lower front face catches the current to slow the descent and create a slow, suspended fall. During a free fall, the lower edge of the head cuts through the water to accelerate the descent while maintaining a stable posture and minimizing jighead rotation.
The hook features ClearBlue’s original open-gap design, making bites easier to detect and reducing power loss during the hookset. Made from 0.51 mm fine-gauge steel wire, it penetrates easily with minimal force while providing reliable penetration. The descent speed can be adjusted through rod control and weight selection, from slowly drifting on a tension fall to presentations focused on free falls and reaction bites. Available in weights from 0.3 to 1.8 g, each weight is stamped on both sides for smooth changes and rotation according to conditions.
