Sea Floor Control Ash

Seafloor Control’s ASH is a semi-long metal jig designed for versatile use according to the baitfish present, with an emphasis on effortless handling. Its center-balanced, asymmetrical body—uneven from front to back and side to side, and formed with seven facets—creates strong underwater appeal across its broad surfaces. It features light retrieve resistance that is easy to handle even when drifting with the current, along with a relatively fast fall speed, making it possible to select a weight one size lighter than a standard jig. While reducing the strain on the angler during operation, it is suited to sending the jig down to deep water and working it while drifting.

During use, combine a steady retrieve with controlled falls, selecting the weight according to the current and baitfish size. Multiple weights are available, including 150g and 210g, allowing them to be chosen according to the fishing depth and current speed. When paired with the short jig AMU, the approach can be varied according to the shape of the baitfish and the conditions. This versatile semi-long jig is designed for a wide range of environments, targeting pelagic species such as yellowtail, amberjack, and tuna, as well as bottom fish and mid-deep-water species.
