Marushin Fishing Tackle (Dragon)’s Shikou TIP RUN EGI is designed for tip-run eging, with a carefully balanced design that is easy to handle during the basic sequence of working the jig after it reaches the bottom, then letting it pause. The weight for probing deeper water is integrated into the head, while the colored head itself adds to the jig’s appeal in combination with the body. It is available in size 3.0 (25 g) and size 3.5 (30 g), allowing you to choose the appropriate model according to water depth, current, and other conditions.

The body colors are primarily pink, orange, blue, green, and purple, with a different base finish used for each color—for example, a glow base for pink, a gold base for orange, and an oil-style base for blue. Existing colors have been adjusted for tip-run eging, creating combinations that accentuate the outer finish. The jig is also equipped with a highly durable staggered crown hook with sharp points, designed to provide reliable penetration and holding power when striking. The basic technique is to let the jig reach the bottom, work it with upward jerks, then stop the jig and wait for a bite. Additional colors include Mecha Purple, Mecha Orange, Bait Aji, and Red Purple.
