issei’s Umitaro soft baits are saltwater lures inspired by real baitfish and traditional fishing methods, designed to combine a strong presence underwater with natural movement. Sabiki-teki, inspired by the results of sabiki fishing, combines a body that integrates naturally with a jig head and an ultra-thin curly tail to produce lifelike action. A guide hole in the head makes it easy to rig with a jig head or bait-fishing hook, with recommended hooks specified for each size: 1 inch, 2 inches, and 2.5 inches.

Spatela uses ribs along its slim body to catch water, while its supple material and micro paddle tail create anything from sharp movement in response to rod work to natural action. The 1.5-inch model can also be paired with the Leveling Head Small Hook and Hayagake. The 2.6-inch and 3.2-inch Jakobag feature textured bodies, antennae with varying shapes, and four legs on the head that grip the water, generating subtle vibrations during the fall and multiple types of water movement. They can be used with multi-offset hooks such as the Nezakana-dama. In addition, the 3.5-inch Jakobag Power features voluminous, powerful antennae and three-dimensional curved ribs, producing strong water displacement and lingering action during the fall and when worked after reaching the bottom. With different sizes and designs, this lineup can be used for everything from delicate presentations with lightweight jig heads to offset rigging.
