AguA’s ALIVER is a polygon minnow developed to pursue lifelike realism and trigger a predatory response with both a straight retrieve and darting action. Its multifaceted body produces flash, while its smooth action is tuned to balance rolling and wobbling. The lure is designed to make its presence known through strong water displacement while using a natural water release to induce strikes.

The lip shape and angle, combined with buoyancy that pushes the lure back, allow it to perform from dead-slow to high-speed retrieves. At low speeds, it swims like a sinking pencil bait, while at high speeds it maintains its posture and occasionally loses balance in an erratic hunting action that creates opportunities for bites. With rod movements, light twitches and jerks produce a three-dimensional darting action that moves not only side to side, but also up and down and forward and backward. It is best used with a straight retrieve as the basic presentation, adding repeated darts when you want to change the fish’s reaction. Available in multiple sizes, the floating models are easy to use when covering the surface and a consistent depth, while each model can be selected according to the bait size, casting distance, and handling characteristics suited to the situation.
