Crazy Ocean Ika Metal Rig

Crazy Ocean’s CO Ikametal rigs are pre-tied rigs designed to let anglers choose the rig tension setting and number of tiers according to changing conditions in ikametal fishing. The lineup is based on three types—low tension, regular tension, and high tension—with both one-tier and two-tier versions available for each, plus an omorig-style version. This configuration accommodates fishing techniques suited to different squid activity levels, making it easy to match the rig to the squid’s response and the fishing method on any given day by changing rigs.

The one-tier versions have an overall length of 120–125 cm, while the two-tier versions are 170 cm long, with the length and position of the branch lines set for each specification. The low-tension models feature an 11 cm branch line in the one-tier version, and an 8 cm upper branch line and 11 cm lower branch line in the two-tier version. The regular-tension models feature a 6 cm branch line in the one-tier version, and a 1.5 cm upper branch line and 8 cm lower branch line in the two-tier version. The high-tension models feature a 1.5 cm branch line in the one-tier version, and 1.5 cm branch lines on both the upper and lower tiers in the two-tier version. These settings finely adjust the movement of egi and sutte lures. The omorig-style version is 170 cm long and features a 6.5 cm branch line. As a metal tip-run rig, it allows anglers to select the tension, number of tiers, and branch-line configuration according to fishing conditions.
