CrazyOcean’s Umi Kemushi Jr was developed to add the vibration of a soft plastic lure to jigging presentations by rigging it on an assist hook. Its compact 1.8-inch (45 mm) body features a distinctive design with fine ribs. The ribs catch the current and generate intense vibration, adding a lifelike appeal to the movement of a metal jig. In addition to ajing, it can be used as a trailer for tai-rubber rigs or rigged on the assist hooks of metal jigs for targeting red sea bream, pelagic fish, bottom-dwelling species, and more.
The standard setup is to lightly hook it onto the assist hook, and it can be rigged on both the rear and front hooks of a jig. Official examples also show the Umi Kemushi Jr rigged on both the front and rear of an assist hook. In addition to the standard model, the lineup includes a high-float model with added buoyancy, allowing anglers to choose between them according to the lure’s posture and presentation. Because it is made from a special material, store it separately from other soft plastics—either in its original package or in a worm-proof tackle case.
