K-Flat Agility Bait Darter

K-FLAT’s Agility Bait Derter is a jerkbait developed to recreate, through variations in jerk intensity, the erratic movements of baitfish breaking away from a sardine school and darting from side to side, as well as the agile, tricky movements of young yellowtail moving from one patch of floating seaweed to another. When targeting just below the surface, its warp action varies the darting width and travel distance according to the strength of the input, mimicking baitfish being chased near the surface.

The 125 mm, 34 g body features a slim, low-center-of-gravity shape designed to reduce air resistance and help maintain a stable flight attitude. Upon landing, it begins with its head lowered and produces a gentle, wobbling spiral fall, appealing to surface-feeding fish such as tuna, bonito, dolphinfish, and yellowtail. The body is made of a rigid foamed material and incorporates a fixed weight system and through-wire construction.

Retrieve the lure by keeping it just below the surface after it lands and varying the jerk intensity to change the darting action. It comes standard with a size #5 split ring, and the recommended hooks are Cultiva ST-56 sizes #1 or 1/0. This product is supplied without hooks, so set it up with hooks suited to your fishing conditions.
